Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The influential game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
